The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is an American Professional Association of Pediatricians, based in Itasca, Illinois. The academy is, in addition to its professional role, an academic institution that includes mainly American pediatricians, but also international members from all over the world.

Two of its most important features, use of air-permeable materials and heat dissipation capacity were mentioned positively in the review on SIDS and other sleep-related infant deaths. These recommendations updated in 2016 were based on a Study published by Numu® in 2012"Aeration and ventilation properties of five"safe"mattresses for babies". You can consult here .
